Abstract

The objective of this study is to assess the long term and interlaboratory precision and accuracy of the general de spectrographic procedure described by Avni and co-workers by analyzing a large variety of silicate standards, the sources and nature of which have been described by Flanagan and Abbey. The data cited herein were obtained by replicate analysis by six analysts, arcing in random order over a period of 2 years and using two spectrographs, three densitometers, and four different emulsions.
