The Measurement of Oscillator Strengths for Copper Lines Involving Autoionizing Levels

Abstract

The relative oscillator strengths of lines involving levels subject to autoionization have been measured in an exploding wire. In this high electron density environment the depletion of the line strength due to autoionization is saturated. The relative oscillator strengths therefore approximate predicted values.
