Abstract

Dunk, Mostyn, and Hoare's method for the determination of sulfate in textiles was adapted for use with natural water samples. The method outlined below is very similar to the one from which it was adapted. The purpose of this report is to present some typical results which can be obtained using atomic absorption methods as compared with gravimetric methods. Standard deviations and relative standard deviations obtained from a series of analyses are also presented.
