Raman Spectral Evidence for a Characteristic Band in the Infrared Spectrum of Sultams

Abstract

It has been reported that a band in the region of 1291 to 1270 cm<sup>−1</sup> in the infrared spectra is characteristic of the sultam ring system. It is now evident that this band is also present in the Raman spectra of such compounds.
