Abstract

An experimental system for the continuous sampling of organic phosphors by the room temperature phosphorimetric technique has been constructed. Phosphorimetric time resolution was achieved by the use of an analog switch phosphoroscope. The results obtained show that this system is fairly sensitive and will allow extremely rapid analyses of small amounts of samples, thereby making it quite suitable for routine analysis of molecules exhibiting phosphorescence at room temperature.
