Abstract

Optical analysis of carbon isotopes by emission spectroscopy has been investigated by measuring the first negative band system of CO<sup>+</sup>. The optical analysis for the abundances of carbon-13 and carbon-14 can be carried out with a SD of 0.05 at.%.
