Abstract

The dicarbamate content of the adducts of ethylenediamine with carbon dioxide, carbon disulfide, and carbonyl sulfide can be determined by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. The effect of experimental variables on the dicarbamate content and the stability of the adducts are explored.
