Abstract

Infrared spectroscopy is a useful tool available to scientists for solving problems associated with molecular structure and behavior and for identifying unknown organic chemicals and mixtures. The problem associated with conventional infrared transmission spectroscopy is that it does not have the required sensitivity for trace analysis.
