Abstract

Aside from the general routine control of cast mixtures by the Spectrographic division of our laboratory, some specific Spectrochemical techniques have been instituted to cover certain of the elements because of the shape and size of the sample, the type of preparation required, mixture or alloy involved, the number of analyses required over a given period of time, and the mode of excitation found most suitable for the determination of that particular element under test.
