Abstract
In this work a light beam composed of a series of periodically repeated pulses with a Lorentzian profile is studied by the use of a photon-counting multichannel analyzer and by the measurement of n(2)(Ti) (i = 1, 2, ..., K). The error in the determination of the width of the pulses is studied with the use of both methods and the results are compared.
