Abstract

Charging time is a critical constraint in the design of large-size or high-resolution liquid crystal display. A fast charging method is proposed to generate adaptive charging voltages by comparing the pixel values between previous and current frames. Data line segmentation is also proposed to charge different subpixels on the data line precisely, which is implemented by using operational amplifiers and resistor networks.
