Abstract

We consider gamma correction of pulse width modulation with current uniformization for AM-OLEDs and propose two correction methods, “quadratic data method” and “quadratic sweep method.” It is found that both methods can produce correct gamma curves, but the quadratic sweep method is superior from the viewpoint of image quality because it can suppress undesirable light emission at the lowest grayscale level.
