Abstract

A photonic feed system for a four arm sinuous antenna was designed and demonstrated practically. The feed system provided four wideband 90° phase shifted signals to feed the sinuous antenna. It had the ability to become reconfigured in order to receive different polarizations. This was achieved utilizing a computer based bias control and thus there was no need for any mechanical function.
