Abstract

Cost-effective plastic MiniDIL transmitter modules suitable for access network system applications are proposed. Their performance is feasible to satisfy the OC 3 (STM 1) and OC 12 (STM 4) specifications. Reliability testing confirmed continuous operation for more than 2000 h at 85C and 85% relative humidity.
