Abstract
In anticipation of the annual Optical Fiber Communication Conference to be held 17–22 March 2002 in Anaheim, California, the Optical Society of America’s Optics & Photonics News (OPN) is publishing a special March issue, including a supplement, dedicated to fiber optics. Here are extended summaries of several articles from the OPN special issue that we think will interest JON readers.
