<p><a href="http://www.osa-jon.org/virtual_issue.cfm?vid=7">Feature Issue on Optical Ethernet II</a></p>Ethernet has firmly established itself as the universally accepted user network interface (UNI) for delivering IP-based services. In this issue, we have seven contributions from academia, service providers, and equipment vendors covering topics of physical layer, network architectures and algorithms, protection schemes, and field deployments.
