The Polarizing Characteristics of Polaroid Plates for Wave-Lengths 4000A to 20,000A

Abstract

The polarizing property of the new Polaroid plates is found to be limited almost entirely to the visible spectrum, dropping off very rapidly in the infrared and violet regions.
