The Fluorescence of Uranium Trioxide Hydrates

Abstract

The hydrates of uranium trioxide have been found to be fluorescent when exposed to ultraviolet light. The fluorescence spectra of the different hydrates have been measured. The anhydrous oxides do not fluoresce.
