Spark Spectra of Elements 43 and 61

Abstract

The ultraviolet spark spectra of elements of atomic numbers 43 and 61 were determined using uranium fission product materials. The limits of detectability and wave-length of the most sensitive lines are given for use in qualitative detection of these elements.
