Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

The principle feature of this source is an air interrupter, some of whose operating characteristics have been described in two earlier papers. This paper presents a general technical description of the source to illustrate its unusual flexibility. A procedure followed in selecting source parameters is outlined. Experimental data presented are those obtained by the usual photographic method and from direct recording type time of wait curves. Several examples are given to show the most suitable source conditions for some widely different type samples.
