Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

A mathematical treatment of the principle of the Hilger-Müller double monochromator is offered. On this basis, a sequence of adjustments is deduced for achieving correct focus. With the aid of a figure defining the symbols used, it should be possible to focus the instrument without appreciating the mathematical conceptions involved.
