Abstract

Loci of constant hue and saturation have been determined with an artificial-daylight surround and with a surround closely matching the chromaticity of a blackbody at 3200K. The results are compared with results published by Bouma and Kruithof and by Richter. Attention is drawn to doubtful assumptions on which their results are based.
