Effect of Field Size and Luminance on the Binocular Summation of Suprathreshold Stimuli

Abstract

The magnitude of suprathreshold binocular brightness summation was determined as a function of field size at two levels of luminance. Luminance was not significant but the magnitude of the summation effect varied from 4% to 16% depending upon the size of the field.
