Some Problems in Low-Temperature Pyrometry

Abstract

Some of the problems arising in low-temperature pyrometry are considered, with special reference to the measurement of small temperature differences. In particular, the influence of changes in emissivity and the general spectral distribution of the energy exchange between two bodies at nearly the same temperature are discussed, and curves are given which are considered to be useful in the practical application of low-temperature pyrometry.
