Apparatus for Measuring the Spectral Dependence of Light Scattering from Large Particles

Abstract

A micro device for measuring the spectral dependence of light scattering is described. The device takes advantage of the special feature of a dark-field microscope condenser which permits collection of light from the entire annulus, thus providing sufficient energy for the measurement of scattering with good spectral resolution.
