Abstract

A final report is given on wavelength measurements in air of eleven lines of Ar i and three of Hg198i in the near infrared, for use as secondary standards. Measurements of a preliminary character on three other lines are also included. These measurements have been made in the course of several years’ time by means of a corner-reflector interferometer of the Michelson type with reversible fringe counter and static fringe interpolator.
