Abstract
In recent years psychometric methods have been used to determine the quality of photographic reproduction. In this paper results are presented of a study undertaken to intercompare the merits of different psychometric methods. A few photographic reproductions were rated with respect to sharpness and over-all picture quality using three different methods. The results also show how closely the sharpness values correspond to over-all picture-quality values.
