Abstract

Energy levels and wavelengths of lines of the oxygen isoelectronic sequence due to transitions of the type 2s22p4–2s22p33s are presented for K xii through Mn xvii, and are compared with previous identifications, where available. Two additional lines due to this transition array are also observed for Cl x. The identifications were made by graphic extrapolation and comparison with published semi-empirical theoretical calculations.
