Abstract
Eight spectral lines of five-times ionized uranium between 800 and 1930 Å are reported. Four terms (5ƒ 2F, 6d2D, 7s2S, and 7p2P) are given. Isoelectronic comparisons are made and the effect of crystal fields on the 5ƒ electron is discussed.
