First and second one- and two-point moments of the phase, the amplitude, and the field of a periodic wave in a random medium are calculated. Acoustic, electromagnetic, and elastic waves are treated. In the electromagnetic and elastic cases the Stokes matrix is determined, and the depolarization of the wave is found. The medium is assumed to be nearly uniform and statistically homogeneous and isotropic. A high-frequency expansion is used together with a perturbation expansion in the magnitude of the inhomogeneity.
