Abstract
The phase shift upon reflection from one-dimensional photonic crystal composed of alternating layers of mu-negative materials and positive-index materials is numerically investigated. It is found that the phase difference between TE and TM reflected waves can remain constant in a rather wide frequency range within the single-negative gap of the proposed structure.
