Abstract

High-resolution spectra of a platinum hollow-cathode lamp were obtained from 215 to 3100 nm with a Fourier-transform spectrometer. More than 320 Pt i lines were measured and used to derive accurate energy levels for 30 even and 52 odd levels. Ritz wavelength standards for Pt i in the vacuum ultraviolet were calculated.
