Abstract

In reply to comments on our previous paper, we briefly discuss the usefulness of an injected Ti:sapphire laser systems for applications in spectroscopy and quantum optics experiments, and we clarify the role of the electronic servo loop in defining the amplitude noise of the system, already fully discussed in our previous publication [J. Opt. Soc. Am. B 23, 1276 (2006).].
