Abstract
We demonstrate a continuous-wave (cw) yellow laser at 561 nm generation by intracavity frequency doubling of a direct in-band pumped Nd:YAG laser on the transition. By using an inserted solid glass etalon and a special coating design, the 1123 nm single line oscillation is realized. With an absorbed pump power of , the maximum output power of is achieved, with an optical-to-optical efficiency of . This is, to the best of our knowledge, the highest cw output power at 561 nm of a diode-pumped frequency doubled Nd:YAG laser.
