Abstract

Using beam-foil spectroscopy, we have made a detailed study of the 5s5p3P∘–5p2 3P, 5s5p3P∘–5p2 1D, and 5s5p1P∘–5p2 1D transitions in Xe vii. Discrepancies in results previously reported elsewhere have now been resolved.
