This paper presents the results of a study of the spectral-luminescence and nonlinear-optical properties of new nonlinear-optical materials - glass-ceramics of the lithium-, magnesium-, and zinc-aluminosilicate systems containing spinel nanocrystals with impurity ions of divalent cobalt. The character of the variation of the spectral-luminescence properties of the original glasses during heat treatment is compared with the phase-decay and crystallization processes in these materials.
