Abstract

The holographic and photographic properties of polyimide-containing photothermoplastic (PTP) materials with high panchromatic photosensitivity have been studied in the visible region, 400–750 nm. It is shown that the overall photosensitivity for the materials studied here is 2 (lux sec)-1 and that the spectral sensitivity SDE=1% in the indicated wavelength range equals 3x10 6 cm2 /J, while the diffraction efficiency and the frequency and resolvometric responses are maintained at the level of commercial organic PTP film.
