Abstract

This paper proposes an improvement of G. G. Slyusarev's method, which was intended for calculations for optical systems composed of thin components. The improvement consists of replacing the solution of systems of equations by the use of the CAPO package for the automatic design of optical systems. An example is presented to confirm the efficiency of this development. © 2004 Optical Society of America
