Abstract

A theoretical analysis is presented of the processes that occur under intense light excitation of a small section of the surface of a semiconductor by a short laser pulse. The temporal dynamics of the absorption are studied when there is competition between impurity and intraband absorption. © 2004 Optical Society of America
