Abstract

A method is proposed of estimating the measurement range of a television spectral-ratio pyrometer with a pyrometric sensor based on a color CCD array, taking into account the known SNR of the television module and the required measurement accuracy. The method can also be used in analyzing both monochromatic and multicolor pyrometers with an arbitrary number of working wavelengths.
