Abstract

This paper gives a description of the AF-90 automatic machine, intended for the controlled shaping of axisymmetric aspheric optical surfaces, and its control system. It gives the results of a comparison of experimental studies of the removal functions for processing on the machine with model constructions using the -OSA- program. Taking into account the results and calculations from the -OSA- program, axisymmetric parabolic surfaces have been fabricated on the AF-90, and the results of investigating them are presented.
