The Russian Optical Society and Optical Study Group (1922), the D. S. RozhdestvenskiÃƒÂ© All-Union Optical Society (1990), and the International Voluntary Organization D. S. RozhdestvenskiÃƒÂ© Optical Society (2001), which are all stages of the common history of the organization and work of the professional and creative collaboration of opticians in Russia, became eighty years old on May 10, 2002.
