Abstract

Expressions are obtained for the coefficients of first- to third-order aberrations of concave aspheric diffraction gratings with unequally spaced lines, described by arbitrary second-order curves. Comparison with the corresponding coefficients of holographic and ruled gratings made it possible to determine the shape and placement of the lines of diffraction gratings fabricated according to existing technologies.
