Abstract
Computer modelling is used to investigate the optical-response dynamics of a liquid-crystal (LC)
display at high control voltages as a function of the physical parameters of the substance.
The character of the influence of the main physical parameters of the LC substance on the memory
time is explained for an LC display in which the interference effect of the optical modes is
used in a structure with a twist angle of 180°.
