Abstract

This paper discusses the spherical aberration of a lens at an air-organic-glass interface of optical media. It is shown that, by solving the problem of fogging in a single-lens collimator sight by filling the internal air gap with organic glass, it is possible to increase the accuracy with which the sighting line is constructed at the same time. © 2004 Optical Society of America
