Abstract

This paper presents a review of certain methods of adapting optical detection- and-ranging systems to internal changes of the characteristics and parameters, caused mainly by the operating conditions. Attention is directed to questions of the practical implementation of the regimes and parameters of the systems and ways of improving a number of characteristics of the systems. © 2004 Optical Society of America
