Abstract

Methods are indicated for enhancing the measurement accuracy of recirculation fiber-optic temperature sensors. An investigation is made of how the properties and design features of various fiber lightguides used as sensor elements affect the sensitivity of such sensors in a wide temperature range. © 2004 Optical Society of America
