Abstract

This paper presents a method for calculating the diffraction field of an electromagnetic wave at a diffraction grating with a multilayer dielectric coating of arbitrary profile. Numerical modelling and an experimental investigation are carried out for the energy properties of metallized lattices with a dielectric coating and of gratings on a dielectric mirror for laser-pulse compression systems.
