Abstract

This paper discusses the possibilities of using diamond microturning when fabricating compression molds and optical elements with several working surfaces, including aspheric surfaces, with specified values of angular and linear decenterings. The technology of combining shaping and assembly is considered. A technique is proposed for investigating the processing heredity of workpieces.
