Abstract

This paper discusses the advantages of Fourier spectrometers with multielement detectors by comparison with dispersion spectrometers for obtaining video-spectrometric data. Examples are given of the use of such an apparatus, mainly for remote probing of the earth. © 2005 Optical Society of America
